What is a consultation?

The consultation is used to see the space or spaces that are causing stress and discuss a plan of action. Measurements are taken so design ideas can begin and timeline is discussed. This is also a time to understand the client’s goal for the space and how they ideally would like the space to function. Consultations can be completed virtually when necessary. 

Do I need to be present for the session?

You do not need to be present for the entire organizing process, but we do ask that you are available. Your feedback throughout the process helps ensure your needs and expectations are being met. You can choose to work side by side with the organizer, or you can relax while we work.

Do I need to buy supplies?

As a professional organizer affiliated with NAPO, I am privileged with trade discounts from certain stores. I am able to purchase items on clients’ behalf and apply my discount to the totals. I charge a $75 shopping fee for research, purchase, and handling returns. However, if you discover products of interest, I am happy to purchase with my discount.

Will I have to get rid of my belongings?

You will never have to separate yourself from your things if you are not willing to. At times, people are resistant to the change and may just need a little encouragement. However, if this is not something you are ready for, that is perfectly fine. I will work with what you have and find the best solution possible.
